We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager, BtB projects, to support our sales team of 3 passionate colleagues in UK, with focus on Architects, Interior Designers, Lighting Designers, Lighting Engineers and Landscape Architects. The position is based in London. The Area Sales Manager will report directly to the UK Country Manager.

The Area Sales Manager will maintain the partnerships with existing customers and search for new business opportunities that can enhance branding and sales growth of Louis Poulsen.
Our new Area Sales Manager is proactive in nature and is always seeking lighting solutions for our customers. Good planning skills, technical knowledge of lighting, passion and understanding of design and working accordingly to KPI’s and targets are criteria for success in this role. The Area Sales Manager will be the face of Louis Poulsen and must at all times represent the company with a positive attitude and the customer in focus. Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

– Increase sales, reaching highest possible gross margin
– Develop, advise and support Louis Poulsen customers
– Search for new opportunities in alignment with Corporate Strategy
– Promote Louis Poulsen products and brand
– Inform customers about our products (existing and new), our lighting philosophy, CPD presentations, product training, activities, events, factory trips to Denmark
– Follow-up on leads, sales activities and campaigns
– Maintenance of CRM system and establishing new customers
– Participating in relevant fairs (national and international)
– Organize and participate in customer events in the specific area
Our new colleague should have minimum 2 years’ experience from a similar role; a passion and understanding of design, with a technical understanding of lighting and a network of existing relationships with these specifiers.
We would like to see that our preferred candidate has an extensive knowledge and drive in sales, is a strong relationship builder, has technical knowledge of lighting and also passionate about design and translating our design philosophy.
You are fluent in English in writing and speech. You have a solid knowledge of IT, particularly CRM knowledge is an advantage.
