Helvar appoints new Lead Software Architect

(Finland) – As part of continued investment in research of new technologies, Nadir Javed will focus on Internet of Things (IoT) – a key component in Helvar’s future business.

Helvar has announced the appointment of Nadir Javed to the newly-created position of Lead Software Architect located at Helvar’s Headquarters, Espoo, Finland. Javed joins Helvar following roles at Tuxera and Nokia Research Centre, and gaining his Master’s Degree from Tampere University of Technology, Finland.

Javed is a forward-thinking software and communications engineer, with broad experience in product architecture, quality management and software development. His job is to drive Helvar wide software design and work closely with Helvar’s R&D teams in UK and Finland. As part of Helvar’s continued investment in research of new technologies, Javed will be focusing on the Internet of Things (IoT) – a key component in Helvar’s future business.

Javed brings with him expertise across a wide range of technology platforms that will be crucial in developing new products to take advantage of IoT and cloud technologies.

This new appointment comes at an exciting time for Helvar. This summer, it launched its new offices in Espoo, Finland. The move creates an improved experience for all employees and provides easier access for customers and visitors alike. Helvar’s latest lighting technology is an integral feature of the new headquarters.
