Lighting Designer Roles

    Isometrix works on a wide and varied range of projects including; Lifestyle, Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Retail, Residential, Exterior, one-off Events, Gallery, and Exhibitions.  Every project we work on is unique, from minimalistic architectural spaces to eclectic decorative interiors.  

    Our Clients are international, and we work with many of the leading, innovative Architects and Designers from around the world from Europe, the United States and Asia. 

    We are looking for talented, creative Lighting Designers, of all levels and experience, to join our busy London studio.  We offer the opportunity for you to grow your skills and experience, express your ideas, and develop your career.

    Senior Lighting Designers 

    A pro-active client facing role, your will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with architects and interior designer teams. You will lead and manage multiple projects, guiding and overseeing our project teams. Being highly creative, originating innovative ideas, and having excellent design flair is essential. Successful candidates will have strong technical knowledge and wide-ranging experience in leading projects from concept through to delivery on site and ‘in use’ assistance to clients.

    Intermediate Lighting Designers 

    You will have demonstrable creative and technical experience both in a studio environment and on site with the ability to offer innovative ideas and refined designed solutions, positively contributing to projects.  Your personal capabilities will include good organisational and interpersonal skills.  The role includes design input from concept to completion, working within a team with direct contact with Clients, Architects and Designers.

    Junior Designers

    Supported by our experienced team, you would be involved through all stages of design from concept through to realisation on site, actively participating in the creative process and installation on site.  You would meet with Clients and Project design teams through all stages of the design process.

    All candidates should be proficient in; Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office with good visualisation skills, including hand sketching and rendering.  An understanding of Revit, Sketch-up and 3DS Max and V-Ray would be beneficial but not essential.

    International travel will be required.
