Filix Lighting acquired by Luminii
(USA / Europe) – The latest company to join the Luminii portfolio, Croatian manufacturer Filix Lighting has been acquired by the North American architectural lighting company.
Founded in 1990, Filix Lighting has built a reputation for delivering innovative urban, exterior, and underwater lighting solutions that help architects, lighting designers, and cities bring ambitious projects to life.
Known for depth in interior and architectural lighting, Luminii brings expertise in applications where refined detail, tunable performance, and design flexibility are critical.
The partnership brings together two organisations that share a commitment to architectural lighting excellence, technical innovation, and customer-focused design. Together, the two brands can support projects with a greater continuity, from façades, landscapes, urban environments, and beyond, to interior spaces and architectural details.
“Design intent shouldn’t stop at the building envelope. The lighting experience should carry the same vision from the first approach to the final interior detail,” said Amy Bonder, Chief Commercial Officer for Luminii.
Following the acquisition, Filix has reiterated that its brand, products, customer relationships, and commitment to the US, European, and Middle Eastern markets remains unchanged. The acquisition will offer greater resources to the brand to support product innovation and long-term growth, and expanded architectural lighting experstise.
The move is the latest in a string of acquisitions from Luminii, following Alva Lighting earlier this year, Glint Lighting in 2024, and Precision Lighting and RCL in 2021.
