(UK) – Following success of UK department, Cundall Light4 appoints Oscar Lee to lead new lighting design discipline in Asia.

Cundall has announced the expansion of its lighting design offering – Light4 – into the Asian market with the opening of a new department, headed by Oscar Lee. Lee will be based in the Hong Kong office from which it will deliver projects across the Asia region.

Lee has a number of years experience in lighting design and has recently completed a sabbatical to pursue a Master’s degree in Lighting Design and LED Technology at Politecnico di Milano in Italy.

Cundall Light4 consists of an experienced and proactive team who each bring a unique element to the field of lighting design and technology. From interior designers to light artists to modellers, the team has the ability to realise every element of lighting design and co-ordinate with other architecture and engineering disciplines.

The groups ethos is about looking forward at new design trends and technologies and using that knowledge to improve the lit environments they create. Light4 focus on landscape lighting design, interior lighting design, designing for daylight and lighting control design in the workplace, hotel, retail and public realm sectors.

Cundall has been established in Asia for over eight years, providing building services engineering and sustainable design and this year sees the launch of lighting design. The success of their lighting designers department in the UK, has seen many innovative projects being successfully delivered, winning and been shortlisted for a number of lighting awards. Following this success, Cundall has made a strategic decision to expand this offering to the Asian market, to add value to their existing clients and secure further work.
