(UK) – darc room, London lighting specifier exhibition, has launched its 2018 event with news that over 20 exhibitors are already confirmed to participate.
Exhibitors so far include AC Special Projects, Aion LED, Applelec, Axalight, Casambi, EcoSense, ERCO, ES System, Exenia, Formalighting, LED Ltd, LED Linear, LensVector, Lightly Tech, Lumenpulse, MBN, Nicolaudie, Radiant Lighting, SGM, TossB and Traxon.
Paul James, director of darc room and publisher of arc and darc magazines, commented: “I’m delighted with the response to this year’s darc room so far. Last year’s event was a critical success. This year we aim to make it even better.”
The event will move from B1 in Holborn to The Tile Factory (Nicholls & Clarke Showroom) on Shoreditch High Street and will take place on 19th and 20th September as part of London Design Festival (LDF). It will also be part of the Shoreditch Design Triangle district at LDF.
“The move to Shoreditch means we are right in the heart of the design district of London,” says James. “It’s a superb venue with room for 50 exhibitors, all done in the darc room style of small pods so no manufacturer dominates the event.”
Light Collective will once again be the creative consultants for the event and they are busy compiling a compelling education programme that involves workshops as well as live stream seminars.
James comments, “There’s still plenty of room for manufacturers, designers and speakers to get involved so please get in touch via our website.”
