(Netherlands) – Signify , Dutch lighting manufacturer, welcomes an unexpected new starter to its Eindhoven office as Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team driver Kimi Antonelli went undercover as its newest “Light Engineer”.

As part of Signify’s partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, Kimi Antonelli traded the cockpit for the office floor, surprising employees at the company’s Eindhoven headquarters. To avoid star treatment and gain real access to the Signify world, he arrived in disguise, spending his ‘first day’ as Peter Bonnington Jr., with a nod to the pit lane and his engineer Bono. In this role, Kimi met teams, learned more about the lighting innovations behind the partnership, and visited the Lighting Application Center. He managed to keep his cover just long enough for the big reveal during a company-wide town hall.
