(UK) – Lighting industry veteran Scott Callis establishes Oliver Dean Lighting Limited (trading as LED Lighting Solutions) to secure his son’s future, who has Down’s Syndrome. 

Launched in June and working closely with the UK specifier market, lighting designers and architects throughout the design process, LED Lighting Solutions has been established to provide cost effective, well-engineered and reliable interior and exterior solutions due to a comprehensive portfolio of stock, custom and bespoke architectural colour changing and white light products, via well-established Italian and UK based manufactures including Studio Due, MaxiLED, Koncept and Ivela.

All proceeds from the company will be put towards securing a future for his son Oliver, who was born with Down’s Syndrome.

“Should Oliver ever be in a position to live semi-independently then all monies raised will be put in a trust to provide purpose-built housing for him,” commented Callis. “I’m nearly 50 years old and have a limited window of time to make this happen.”

Using well respected and trusted SMD manufactures such as Osram, Bridgelux, Citizen and Cree, all products come with a five year manufacturer warranty and meet all the current approvals such as CE and UL.

With 21 years in the lighting industry including a number of years at Anolis, Callis is confident the company will be a success. “We’re now open for business, so if you wish to help to provide a special needs child with a secure future, living as independently as possible via a purpose built house tailored to his needs then please get in touch.
