LEDforum announces new dates and format

3rd July 2020

(Brazil) – The show had originally been rescheduled to November 2021.

Organisers of LEDforum.20 have announced that the show has been postponed until August 2021.

Originally scheduled for 20-21 August 2020, the show was initially postponed until November of this year, but as the Covid-19 pandemic continues to impact on events around the world, organisers feel that they will no longer “be able to offer a safe environment for the congress to take place in its original format.”

The two physical activities due to be held during LEDforum as part of the International Light Week Workshops have been rescheduled as well. The Lighting for Historical Buildings workshop will take place on 17-18 August 2021, while the LED Attack workshop will be on 18 August 2021.

Despite rescheduling the event until next year, organisers are pleased to announced that all speakers confirmed for this year, as well as the workshop leaders, will remain in place for next year. These include lighting designers Rafael Leão (Brazil), Ricardo Hofstadter (Uruguay), Prof. Jan Blieske (Germany), Mary-Anne Kyriakou (Australia), and Wim aan de Stegge (Netherlands), alongside British artist Liz West, and award-winning Dutch artist and architect Daan Roosegaarde.

Alongside the physical forum next August, a special digital edition of the event – LEDforum.20 DIGITAL – will take place on 6th November. More information on this will be released soon.

Registration for LEDforum.21 is now open – registration will also grant access to LEDforum.20 DIGITAL.
