(USA) – LEDucation to host record number of CEU educational sessions during tenth anniversary event in NYC on 29 and 30 March.

The Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY) has announced a record number of educational sessions and panel discussions that will be offered during LEDucation in NYC in March. LEDucation will offer a selection of over 30 educational sessions and three panel discussions that cover various aspects of LED lighting, design, controls and technology integration and application. The annual event offers attendees a versatile array of educational sessions to attend for continuing educational credits (CEUs).

“With the move to a larger location, we are not only able to expand the Expo floor for more manufacturers to participate but more importantly increase the number of educational sessions that we offer our attendees. This move and expansion has enabled us to provide LEDucation attendees with a expansive selection of over 30 sessions from introductory sessions for new attendees to advanced topics,” commented Speaker Co-Chair, Craig Fox of ETC Architectural.

“To help us celebrate our tenth anniversary, we wanted to provide LEDucation attendees with more options than ever. We are proud to have secured some of the industries most accomplished and well-known industry experts that will be sharing their expertise in sessions spanning controls, design, technology, application and innovation,” continued Fox.

Celebrating its tenth year as the premier lighting event dedicated to advancing the education of the lighting community, the annual event is scheduled to take place in New York City on 29 and 30 March, 2016 at the NY Hilton Midtown hotel. Special sessions and events have been designed to meet the needs of specific industry areas such as Interior Design and Controls. The opening CEU session on Tuesday and Wednesday morning are both designed specifically to meet the needs of the Interior Designer, Architect and Student. These sessions offer attendees the opportunity to become more familiar and comfortable with the new LED technologies and controls; and to learn the basic terminology, light sources, how to evaluate a sample and write a specification. Directly following these morning sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in small group Docent Tours of the LEDucation Expo with a dedicated guide available to answer specific questions regarding the technologies.

The annual educational expo, hosted by the DLFNY, is one of the industries longest running events dedicated solely to LED Technology. All sessions are eligible for Continuing Education Units (CEU) and are scheduled starting at 8:30 am each day. Access to all CEU Sessions is available for $50 or Individual Sessions can be purchased for $10 per session. EXPO Passes to view the latest LED luminaires, controls and energy efficient designs and advancements from over 260+ leading LED manufacturers may be purchased for $25 or are FREE for all DLFNY and IESNA Members with advanced registration. Students are also encouraged to attend as a complimentary guest with a valid ID.
