(UK) – After nearly four years at MJ Lighting, Mathew Inett moves to represent global lighting manufacturer in North England. 

Mathew Inett has joined Global lighting manufacturer XAL to represent the company in the North of England after nearly four years at MJ Lighting.

XAL UK Managing Director Paul Welbon commented: “Mat joins XAL at a great stage with the UK company growing year on year and the global position at its strongest in our 26 year history. Mat is a huge part of that future success and we are extremely pleased to welcome him to our family.”

XAL have a reputation for high quality lighting manufacture and cutting edge design innovation. Although manufacturing on four continents, it is the headquarters in Graz, Austria that has its largest facility, including its newly developed Competence Centre, which is a hub of creativity, product development and testing. It is the same venue that plays host to their annual RIBA CPD accredited See the Light event, where customers are taken out to Austria to see these processes first hand.

Inett originally graduated in fashion design from the University of the Arts, London before finally entering the lighting industry through MJ Lighting. Whilst there, he had a large impact and grew its profile amongst the specification markets within the retail, high end residential & hospitality sectors nationwide. He has been involved with several award winning projects with lighting designers and architects alike and it is widely regarded that he will hit the ground running in the new role.

I’m looking forward to increasing that in my beloved North of England, which is such an exciting hot bed of great lighting design and architecture.”
