(USA) – Vontobel brings 20 years’ lighting experience to help expand Acolyte’s product line and global facilities.

Acolyte LED has announced the promotion of Scott Vontobel to President of the company, including its offices and all employees globally. This will include leadership of Acolyte Worldwide, United States, Acolyte Asia (China and Hong Kong), Dubai, Australia and New Zealand.

Since joining Acolyte in 2015, Vontobel has been able to look and work with all aspects of the business and has a complete grasp on the challenges ahead of us and the future of Acolyte in this very competitive market.

Working his way through each position and at each of Acolyte worldwide locations, has given Vontobel the insight needed to help coach and assist Acolyte’s team to exceed its customer’s needs. “I will continue to grow from the components that have made Acolyte successful,” stated Vontobel.

Vontobel added: “A key factor in the future of Acolyte success will be contacting and traveling to our customers worldwide to get input on what Acolyte is doing right and where we can improve and I will bring this information back to our staff so we can incorporate their input into our future operations and key decisions. Acolyte will strive to be the best customer-friendly company and we will take a more proactive approach in 2017. We have hired many key players in the past two years and will continue to add more to fill needed positions. I believe in the products and people and want to use my experience to bring them together. I have been very fortunate to work for some very exciting companies with great business models and will be implementing some of their success within Acolyte.

In 2015, Vontobel was quickly promoted to the title of Vice President of Operations and most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer of the company. After graduating college, he started his first job in the lighting industry, and eventually worked on several major projects ranging from the Super Bowl to Cirque du Soleil. Vontobel’s background includes positions with Lex Products, TMB and Global Design Solutions.
