Spread the Light: Light & People – Elettra Bordonaro & Carlijn Timmermans

Part 3 of STIR’s Spread the Light series, filmed by Linus Lopez at PLDC 2019, sees Light Follows Behaviour founder Elettra Bordonaro and Carlijn Timmermans, founder of C.Light.Wise, explore the role of research in improving the quality of life and living environments, and how the parameters differ depending on country or cultural heritage. Despite being actively involved in lighting design in their respective countries, they question the priority that light is given in design and argue for a holistic approach to understanding and meeting the needs of people.
