As of 1 September 2019 Maes will take over as CEO of Tridonic, part of the Zumtobel Group. He succeeds Guido van Tartwijk, who left the company at his own request at the end of last year. Maes will report directly to Alfred Felder, CEO Zumtobel Group.

Most recently, he held the position of Vice President of Global Systems & Solutions at Rockwell Automation for ten years.

“We are very pleased to have won Hedwig Maes, a manager with international experience and extensive knowledge of strategic orientation in the product and system business, for the management of our components business,” said Alfred Felder, CEO Zumtobel Group. “I am convinced that with Hedwig Maes, CFO Thomas Erath and COO Alexander Jankovsky, we now have an excellent management team to lead Tridonic into the future.”
