What’s happening at Hong Kong Lighting Fair 2026

12th October 2026

(China) – Hong Kong will become a focal point for the international lighting industry this October, as the HKTDC Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) and Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo return with connected systems, decorative products, outdoor applications, LED displays and energy technologies on show.

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the two events will run across separate venues. The Outdoor and Tech Light Expo takes place at AsiaWorld-Expo from 26–29 October, followed by the Autumn Lighting Fair at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 27–30 October. This edition is presented under the theme “Beyond Illumination” and is expected to bring together around 3,000 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions.

At the Autumn Lighting Fair, the Hall of Connected Lighting will feature around 70 brands and industry organisations. Exhibitors named by the organiser include Dimon, Viliya, Inventronics, TUYA, Viso Systems, Casambi and Signify, while participating alliances will include the Connectivity Standards Alliance, DALI Alliance, SILA-EMN Alliance and Zhaga Consortium. KNX is also due to make its first appearance at the fair.

A new LED Display Solution Zone will cover video walls, commercial displays, transparent and flexible LED panels, immersive audiovisual systems and integrated display products. Ledman Hong Kong is among the first-time exhibitors, with plans to show its QS Series IceScreen LED Display and LEDHUB Smart Conference Solution.

Elsewhere, the Hall of Aurora will bring together approximately 500 brands focused on decorative and design-led products. Residential, commercial and LED-focused areas will cover household luminaires, components, light sources, testing and certification, and industry services. Signify is also scheduled to present an installation built around two racing simulators, together with Philips Sky professional lighting solutions.

The Outdoor and Tech Light Expo will focus on products and systems for outdoor, commercial and industrial use. Its three main areas will address smart poles and integrated urban systems; landscape and architectural lighting; and professional-grade products for infrastructure, factories, warehouses and other technical settings.

Photovoltaic company is adding photovoltaic and energy-storage technologies to its offering this year. Among the products announced, Lansine Intelligent (Zhongshan) will show an energy-storage power station and foldable solar-panel range intended for off-grid, emergency and small-scale applications.

The seminar programme at HKCEC will open with the Innovative Lighting Design Forum on 27 October, featuring case studies from designers working across museums, exhibitions and cultural projects. A new session developed with the Illuminating Engineering Society will examine selected IES Illumination Awards projects.

On 28 October, a Women in Lighting session will discuss circularity in lighting design. The programme also includes a Connected Lighting Forum on intelligent and human-centric lighting, while a separate AsiaWorld-Expo seminar on 27 October will consider the integration of smart technology and AI in outdoor lighting and smart-pole applications.
